Ligne de veine — Kitchen & Wine Cellar, Megève

In this project combining a kitchen and a wine cellar, Italian Home Design has created a design of great aesthetic and technical rigour. The ceramic tiles, used for the worktop and wall cladding, reveal perfectly aligned veining thanks to meticulous layout planning.
Aesthetic precision combined with understated elegance.

The contrast between the matt finish of the worktop and the gloss finish of the splashback adds texture and depth, whilst maintaining a prominent grain pattern. The handle-free fronts, finished in a copper-coloured metallic lacquer, emphasise the minimalist feel of the whole design.

The solid wood bar, with its unusual open-angled shape, adds rhythm to the flow of the space and helps to structure the layout. Metal wall fittings and integrated LED strips complete this design, whilst three Liebherr wine coolers allow white wines, red wines and champagnes to be stored separately.

The subtle link between the materials used in the kitchen and those of the fireplace creates a refined visual continuity. The metallic lacquer, solid wood and indirect lighting highlight a design that is at once understated, sophisticated and resolutely contemporary.
